Lead Copper Service Line Replacement Program

August 12, 2024: Hays Utility North completed the inspection of lead, copper, and galvanized water service lines as required by Texas Title 40 CFR 141.84 for all homes constructed before 1989. The inspection identified four homes with copper service lines. 

Recent Submission: Hays Utility North, on behalf of Diamondhead Water Supply Corportion, submitted required lead service line inventory to EPA in compliance to Texas Title 40 CFR 141.84. 

October 15, 2024: All identified lead copper service lines on the utility side of the water meter were replaced.
